Bryn a Môr is a hidden gem on the breathtaking south coast of ancient Dyfed, nestled between Iron Age forts and cairns on the surrounding headlands. The coastal path, spanning two counties, offers spectacular ocean views and is just steps away. Adjacent to Bryn a Môr lies a secluded cove, which at low tide reveals walking access to two expansive sandy beaches. We are bordered by National Trust woodland, a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest.

At Bryn a Môr, we embrace the wild edges of nature, practicing permaculture and regenerative agriculture. Our extensive experience in cultivating a biodiverse landscape includes a passion for tree planting, raising free-range animals, and growing food sustainably.

In our first year at Bryn a Môr, we consulted with ecologists to ensure our efforts support the existing ecosystem, which is home to slow worms, Dartford warblers, red kites, tawny owls, badgers, peregrine falcons, pheasants, orchids, and diverse grasses. We have begun creating a mosaic of habitats by clearing some of the dominant gorse, allowing livestock and horses to graze among the rare coastal scrub.

Our holistic approach is grounded in practical experience, honed over 12 years at our previous smallholding in Lammas. There, we transformed a barren, overgrazed sheep field into a vibrant wildlife haven, teeming with insects, invertebrates, honey bees, hedgehogs, and a myriad of birds. We bring this same dedication to Bryn a Môr, observing and nurturing this unique landscape to encourage nature’s abundance. Our goal is to sustainably support our family and offer visitors an unforgettable immersive nature experience.
