Films4Tenby are bringing The Choral to the De Valence Pavilion on Tuesday 9th June at 7pm.
Set in 1916 during the First World War, this British historical drama follows the members of a local choral society in the fictional town of Ramsden, Yorkshire. With young men away at war, the group recruits an unlikely mix of townspeople to perform Edward Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius.
Directed by Nicholas Hytner and written by Alan Bennett, the film features a wonderful cast including Ralph Fiennes, Roger Allam, Mark Addy, Alun Armstrong, Robert Emms and Simon Russell Beale.
