It is in a unique location, accessed via the exterior spiral staircase from the courtyard of our gastro-pub, The Hope & Anchor. You’ll have a fabulous stay, with gourmet local food and craft ales on your doorstep.
Open plan studio apartment with kitchen, dining, and living area flowing onto the airy double room and separate shower room. Views of Castle Hill towering above the pretty Harbour and the street scenes below.
Gorgeous double bedroom, beautifully styled, with shuttered bay window allowing maximum light and/or privacy, and local artists’ work displayed.
Immaculate kitchen area, including fridge-freezer, microwave oven, hob and dishwasher. The washing machine is tucked away in the bespoke cupboards in the bedroom. Fresh and immaculate – comfy navy leather sofa in the shuttered bay window with views to the street-life below; wall-mounted tv; antique dining table for two. Central heating, internet access, free view TV. Travel cot and high chair available on request.
Ty Madoc is one of 3 beautiful apartments above The Hope & Anchor Inn, accessed via the quirky spiral staircase from the courtyard. Taken together with Ty Olwen and Ty Mabli, and subject to availability, they can sleep up to 8 people plus infants. These apartments are so perfectly located, family members will be able to just come and go as they please – pop to the shops, or nip back up from the beach for a siesta – you will hardly need the car.
Being so near the Harbour, there is no parking at the property. However there is so much to do within Tenby and its extensive beaches, many people park up their car in the nearby reasonably-priced multi-storey and forget about it until it is time to depart.
Ty Madoc is the perfect place for a couple to enjoy a romantic break in the heart of Tenby, just above the beautiful Harbour. The little Harbour beach is a favourite with locals, and it won the best beach in Europe award in 2014. The dramatic Castle beach with the imposing St Catherine’s Fort is also 2 minutes walk away and won The Sunday Times Beach of the Year in 2019.
