Get up close with amazing animals from around the world. Manor Wildlife Park mission is to protect and secure endangered species ecosystems.

Single and multi-species enclosures have been cleverly created with as few apparent boundaries as possible, to give visitors the impression of free roam while ensuring the safety of both human and non-human animals.

Manor Wildlife Park also have an Indoor play area too, so great when the odd occasional shower strikes 🙂

Mackerel Fishing Tenby launches from Tenby Harbour, but when the tide doesn’t permit them to go from the harbour wall, they launch from Castle Beach.

The skipper of Seren Y Mor, Roger was featured on the ITV show the Harbour. Take a look and get a sense of what harbour life means to all those that work and live around this picturesque seaside town.

Carew Castle and Tidal Mill rich history spans over 2,000 years and tells of knights of the realm, kingmakers, Elizabethan intrigue and Civil War devastation.

Set in a stunning location overlooking a 23-acre Millpond, the Castle is one of the most architecturally diverse in Wales; from the west a Norman fortress, yet from the north a splendid Elizabethan mansion.

The site also includes the only restored Tidal Mill in Wales, an 11th-century Celtic cross, a Medieval bridge and a picnic area all linked by a mile-long circular walk, suitable for buggies and wheelchairs, with magnificent views over the Millpond.

Heatherton World of Activities is an award-winning family attraction near Tenby with over 30 exciting activities on one site. It’s an incredible day out for all ages!

Tenby Museum and Art Gallery stand as the oldest independent museum in Wales. Established in 1878 it continues to develop its collections and displays to preserve and promote the history of the town, giving a sense of place and heritage to both the local person and the visitor.

There are two hands-on displays for children and families in the galleries, so there is plenty of amusement for children including Pirate Treasure Trails, gallery quiz sheets and jigsaw puzzles, both fun and educational. They can also dress up as a pirate and enjoy the hands-on archaeology, and they can also become a History Detective.

The museum also runs a CBBC Relic Trail (As seen on television).

There are many great ways to explore around Tenby, but none quite so immersing as cycling.
