At low tide, it links with Saundersfoot Beach and with a little scramble over rocks to Monkstone Point and Monkstone Beach.
It is best to check our tidal table HERE before a visit, as the beach can become almost entirely submerged at high tide.
The cliffs have dense overhanging woodland which has a section of the Pembrokeshire coastal path running through it. The beach offers far-reaching views out over Saundersfoot Bay and down the coast to Monkstone Point. Glen beach faces east and so gets full sun in the morning, but is shaded by the cliffs in the afternoon.
Glen beach is best accessed from Saundersfoot Harbour at low tide. There is an alternative access point if the tide is in from The Glen (What3Words), but you are completely cut off from the rest of the beach until the tide goes out.
There are three coves and plenty of rockpools to explore for wildlife along the entire length of Glen Beach, right up to Monkstone Point where the sea life appears to cling to every rock surface.
