Description
Tenby Shepherds Huts is a facility in south-west Wales that is maintained by a family and is kept in immaculate condition. It is located five minutes' drive from the town of Tenby. This location might be ideal for you if you want to combine a luxurious camping experience by the water with a few strenuous hikes along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, which is located directly over the road.
The cosy shepherd's huts are completely self-contained, and each one is furnished with a kitchenette that has a refrigerator, a sink, an oven, and other essentials for preparing simple meals. These meals can then be enjoyed on a private balcony that overlooks the surrounding area. If you really long for the days when you could have dinner in front of your favourite sitcom, there is also a television available. Bedding, a barbecue, as well as an outside table and chairs, are all offered free of charge.
This is the kind of place where you can rediscover the joys of living a life that is less complicated, whether it's by gazing up at the dazzling display of stars in the night sky or dozing off to the sound of owls hooting in the distance. And when the sun rises, you will have the opportunity to step out of your Shepherds Hut investigate your natural surroundings. Tenby South Beach is the closest stretch of sand, and it's only a five-minute walk away (just across the road and across the dunes). However, if you're hauling paddleboards and other watersports equipment, you might find it more convenient to drive there (10 minutes).
You can get provisions from a farm shop that is a five-minute drive away, or there are plenty of places to dine in and around the village of Penally (which is a ten-minute walk away), as well as in Tenby.
