Tuk Tuk Time was formed in 2019, and is the first venture of its kind in Pembrokeshire.

Originally a means of transporting guests at The Buttles Caravan Park, Begelly, to the beautiful nearby beaches, the tuk-tuks are now available for hire.

The tuk-tuks are imported from India, with Hector and Hattie being the first of the fleet. They’re lovingly tended to by co-founders Tony and Lorraine Niederlag and Paul and Wendy Jones.

The tuk-tuks are official taxis - That’s right. Our tuk tuks are fully licensed Hackney carriages. That means that you can hail us for a ride if you see us out and about in Pembrokeshire. The fare will never be higher than what’s on the meter. It may even be less if we like you.

We’re conscious of our carbon footprint - You’ll be glad to hear that - although the tuk-tuks run on petrol - the emissions are so low as to be negligible. We’re very proud that they’ve been classified as zero-emission vehicles.

You’re in for a comfortable ride - Our tuk-tuks take two passengers each, and we’ve done our best to make them mega comfy. For those happy to brave less clement weather, we’ve got side rain covers if needs be.

We’ve done our paperwork - We’re covered by public liability insurance and are fully council approved. We take our customers’ safety very seriously, so you know you’re in good hands!

Tuk Tuk Tours

Pembrokeshire is gorgeous, and we happen to think that a tuk tuk is one of the best ways to see it. The magic of the coast and countryside is truly enhanced by zipping around in one of these unique vehicles.

Tour 1: The Whole Shebang - Kicking off in Saundersfoot, we head for Lydstep then skrinkle then Manorbier.  We take the country route back so that you have that ‘Wow’ view moment heading towards Tenby before returning to Saundersfoot.  Lots of little stops along the way. Estimated time:2 Hours. (Please note: access to Tenby Town Centre and Harbour is restricted in Summer)

Tour 2: The Seafront Special - Saundersfoot to Ludchurch via the Iron Works in Stepaside before taking the beautiful back roads to Amroth before heading to Wiseman’s Bridge and Coppet Hall and back to your pick up point.  With plenty of stops to soak up the views. Estimated time: 2 Hours.

Tour 3: The Mystery Tour! - Well, we’re not going to tell you where this one goes, are we? But rest assured, it’s a very jolly countryside or coastal jaunt. Estimated time: 1 Hour.

Tour 4: You Decide! - Want to design your own tour?  You choose the destinations and we’re happy to make suggestions too.

Our tours are £30 per person per hour, minimum of two people.  We’re happy to add on sumptuous picnics at £25 for two people.
