Summer Solstice in Tenby with Merseyside IVC | 20th – 24th June 2022
Open to ordinary members of IVC clubs around the country get involved with Merseyside IVC in Tenby (South Wales) for the Summer Solstice. This is a spectacular time to visit Tenby. This is a low-stress mid-week break in a seaside town. There are plans for walking, visiting historical sites and convivial evenings.

The Long Course Weekend Tenby | 1st – 3rd July 2022
This is one of the biggest multisport festivals in Europe for Wales Air Ambulance Charity. Set on the west coast of Wales in Pembrokeshire, this exciting event attracts over 10,000 athletes and 35,000 supporters from 45 nations to compete on one day or over the three days.
You can take part and buy a charity space which enables you to get your space for £10 if you raise money too. Each space allows for the total distance events, but you can drop down to the shorter distances if you like. Be quick, limited spaces available!
Friday – The Wales Swim
Choose to swim 1.2 miles or a total of 2.4 miles.
Charity space £10 – minimum sponsorship £250.
Saturday – The Wales Sportive
Choose to cycle 40, 70, or the total distance of 112 miles.
Charity space £10 – minimum sponsorship £200.
Sunday – The Wales Marathon
Charity space £10 – minimum sponsorship £200.
All three events
You can take on all three events. Please note that this being a charity space, you will not receive the fourth medal to show completion of the weekend. However, you will receive a medal for each event.

Westival | 21st – 25th July 2022
Westival is a stripped-back festival experience, focusing on good music, sound, people and a great location.
Three genre-themed stages will be surrounded by the stunning Pembrokeshire National Park, just 5 minutes away from Manorbier station. Previous Artists here have been Marcellus Pittman, CC:Disco, Esa, Peach, Masalo, Afriquoi, The Busy Twist, Yaaba Funk, Donna Leake, Lovebirds, O’Flynn, Jamie Tiller and Orpheu the Wizard.
Tenby Rotary Club Summer Summer Spectaculars | 7th and 21st August 2022
This is a great opportunity to see a fantastic firework show over Tenby. There is a bar from 3 pm, a show from 4 pm and fireworks begin at 10 pm. It’s a great way to witness Tenby lit up in all the colours of the rainbow.
Open Air Theatre, Dracula | 3rd September 2022
British Touring Shakespeare is presenting a spooky evening of open air theatre. They will be showcasing their new adaptation of the classic gothic horror story Dracula by Bram Stoker.
Parental discretion is advised due to adult themes. As an expert in the supernatural, Professor Abraham Van Helsing presents his most terrifying case as he is called in to help a young woman who becomes mysteriously ill during a trip to Whitby. Younger children may find this a little scary!
Feel free to bring a rug or low-backed chair. Hot drinks are available, so booking is essential! Tickets are non-refundable, and the performance will go ahead in wet weather. Wear warm clothing, and bring a torch.
Ironman Wales | 11th September 2022
Known to many as one of the most challenging Ironman races in the world, Ironman Wales in the seaside town of Tenby is not for those with a faint heart! The 2.4-mile swim is followed by a 112-mile cycle and, to top it all off, a marathon. Although you don’t have to participate, it makes for a fantastic day as a spectator.
World Rowing Coastal Championships | 7th-16th October 2022
The World Rowing Coastal Championships welcomes club rowers to compete in an international competition. Courses will start from Saundersfoot and follow a route along the unique Pembrokeshire coastline.
Head to Saundersfoot beach for an unmissable World Rowing Coastal Championships and Beach Sprint Finals. Rowers from across the world will descend on the seaside village for this international competition.
Tenby Blues Festival | 18th-20th November 2022
We are calling all Blues fans! Tenby Blues Festival 2022 will be taking place from 18th-20th November. This will be a fun-filled three days in one of the UK’s prettiest seaside towns set in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
Featuring roughly 50 acts across 20 different venues, most with free admission. You can’t beat the terrific atmosphere and friendly vibe this festival offers. So many people return yearly to join in the fun and become part of this big Blues community.
Across the three main stages, there are six ticketed events for which you can purchase tickets. Tickets will be available online from August. The Festival Box Office and Merchandise Stall is located in the de Valence Pavilion and opens at 2 pm on the Friday of the Festival.
