This October Heatherton World of Activities has their first ever pick your own pumpkin patch!

Their green-fingered team have been lovingly cultivating the giant patch and they can’t wait to share them with you. Pop along and choose your very own pumpkins to take home, a perfect way to make some lovely Halloween memories with your little witches, wizards, and ghosts.

During half term week, they also have a scarecrow trail, where you can find all the sneaky Scarecrows hidden around the park. Each one has been designed and created by a local school or club. There’s no need to book the trail – simply pick up your trail sheet from reception or the Craft Shack Café and get hunting!

Entry to the Pumpkin Patch is £1 per person and it will be available for the following session dates/times during October 2023:

Fridays (8th, 15th & 22nd October) 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm

Saturdays, Sunday and every day throughout October half term (32rd -31st) :

10.30am to 12.00pm
12.30pm to 2.00pm
2.00pm to 4.30pm

Pumpkin Prices: Small pumpkins – £4 / Medium pumpkins – £6 / Large pumpkins – £8.

2. Spirits Awaken: Spine-Chilling Delights at Carew Castle

From October 27th to November 6th, Carew Castle beckons you to embrace the supernatural. Join us for bewitching events like the Herbal Myths and Magic Tour, the eerie Fireside Tales, and dare to wander the Creepy Mill haunted house or brave the Scarecrow Trail from October 29th to November 6th.

On November 1st, Halloween Hijinks ensue, led by the Forest Fairy Friends – Fairy Blackberry and Incy Wincy Spider. They’ll conjure interactive enchantment with games, dancing, storytelling, and spine-tingling Halloween fun for those three and older. Booking is a must.

Additionally, step into the pages of Room on the Broom as Julia Donaldson’s magical tale comes to life. Dive into beloved stories and games, igniting young imaginations. There are three one-hour sessions on November 3 and 4, commencing at 10am, 12noon, and 2pm. Suitable for ages 4-8, with children accompanied by an adult. 3. GHOST HUNT: Unearth the Haunting Secrets of Carew Castle
